Wow!

This is very good haiku even just taking in account "the top layer of meaning", but takes on a lot more significance when you think Christian dominated countries have sent in military aircraft to attack muslim countries such as Iraq and Afghanisation.

It brings up the old crusades to a contemporary era.

An excellent "show don't tell" political haiku.

Just like to say again how good this haiku is.

Thank you Alan.

Your assistance as I struggle with the form is appreciated.

It's just a fine haiku, which is why I commented twice. ;-)

I'd consider adding this to another 4 or 5 haiku and submit them, maybe Heron's Nest?

Exquisite! Amazingly layered for such a brief piece.
