I really like that first one too.

It's very strong. A lot of good haiku are like this, not afraid to do something contemporary on a tough subject.

It has a lot of layers to it, whether it's to do with self-harm (extremely common nowadays) or religious beliefs.

I love the first one and just have to share it with my poor husband who struggles throughout the summer with this fate.
